Puerh Tea Mini Tea Cakes (25 pcs) Ripe Mini Tuocha (4.4 ounce)

Main concept behind our minituo line is simplification.

But it's not just entry-level product, it's rather everyday product. :)

Natural leaf of Camellia sinensis var. assamica sourced from tea plantations of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province, China.

After leaf is plucked, fixed, rolled and sun-dried it goes to our production facility for wet-pile post-fermentation. After fermentation lose leaf tea is screened, graded and pressed. This product was made of broken leaf for the convenience of pressing and brewing.

Tea is pressed in a form of mini tuocha (aka bird nest shape).

Each minituo is warpped individually.

The weight of minituo is 4.5 - 5 g, enough for brewing 300-500 ml (16 oz) of tea.

Minituo is medium-pressed, so you can crush minituo with bare hands.

Mini-tuo can be brewed in any way you like. We advice to start with tea-water ratio about 1:100, water temperature - just of the boil, brewing time 3-4 min.

Considering fermentation and fraction of this tea we found it to be most suitable for following brewing methods:

  • Single cup ball infuser
  • French press
  • Pour over
  • Clever Dripper
  • Teapot with sifter
